The SELFY’s coordinator Eurecat presented the project during the EARPA’s anniversary event “Driving Innovation since 20 years!”, celebrated last Wednesday 19th of October in Brussels (Belgium).
Víctor Jiménez, project’s technical coordinator and researcher at the IT&OT Security Unit of Eurecat, participated in the event and presented the SELFY project in the session “Future EARPA projects”.
During this session, SELFY was introduced as a key European project developing a toolbox made up of collaborative solutions to improve the resilience of the Cooperative Connected Automated Mobility (CCAM) sector.
Fanny Breuil, project’s coordinator and R&I programme of Eurecat, co-moderated the anniversary event and this specific session focused to EARPA projects. The event, which counted with the presence of the former presidents of EARPA, showcased the past and the evolution of the association and was focused on the transformation of road mobility of the future.

SELFY Project's presentation - EARPA's 20-Anniversary
The event offered a programme with different type of sessions including a keynote about accelerating innovation through collaborative R&D, presentations of past and current EARPA projects, and a final panel discussion focused on how we can overcome incremental innovations for a resilient mobility system.
The EARPA’s 20-year anniversary event was attended by several representatives of the European Commission and the presidents and members of the most important EU mobility platforms and partnerships: Batteries European Partnership Association (BEPA), Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM), European Association of Automotive Suppliers (CLEPA), European Council for Automotive R&D (EUCAR), European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) and POLIS, the network of European cities and regions cooperating for innovative transport solutions, among others.
EARPA is the association of automotive R&D organisations which brings together the most prominent independent research providers in the automotive sector throughout Europe. EARPA has 55 members ranging from large and small commercial organisations to national institutes and universities.
