Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt

Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI) is one of Germany top university of applied sciences for applied research with a focus on artificial intelligence and mobility. More than 6,500 students are enrolled at THI, and around 800 employees work in teaching, research, and administration. Over 60 professors supervise almost 200 PhD students, mostly in the fields of artificial intelligence and mobility. Located at the THI, the research center CARISSMA is the nationwide leading scientific center for vehicle safety. The Bavarian AI mobility node at THI is currently establishing a research center for artificial intelligence with around 100 researchers – supported by the High-Tech Agenda Bavaria.

THI is in charge for validation of the project results as well as for the design of the vehicle security operations center. THI has large experience in the area of vehicle security and safety, with 16 professors and more than 75 PhD students working in this area.
