PARTICIPANT INFORMATION STATEMENT
Foremost, we want to thank you for participating with us in this study. With your collaboration, you will help us contribute to achieving much safer and more inclusive mobility, making the mobility of the future available to everyone.
What is the purpose of this survey?
The objective of this survey, carried out within the framework of the SELFY project, is to identify the main challenges that may arise for people with special needs in the context of cybersecurity, within the connected autonomous mobility sector.
The survey is fundamentally oriented to Europe, but we hope that it can be generalized to other regions of the world.
AEVAC, in collaboration with Fundació Eurecat, is carrying out this study to validate use cases and know the opinion of the disability ecosystem, as well as the elderly and entities that work on gender equality, regarding the use of autonomous vehicles and associated technology.
Survey duration
This survey should take you approximately 25–30 minutes to complete.
Your participation
The participant is informed that:
- Participation in this study is completely voluntary.
- The surveys will be carried out through the Google Forms platform, acting as the data processor, and no type of registration or identification of the participant will be required.
- The survey can only be sent once all the mandatory questions have been answered and after clicking the send button on the last page. Once the survey has been sent, it will not be possible to modify it or request the deletion of your results.
- Responses to the surveys are treated anonymously so that the participant will not be identified.
- You can cease your participation at any time or reject the use of your data for the study, without having to justify your decision by sending an email to legal@eurecat.org
Data Protection
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679, of April 27, 2016, regarding the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free circulation of these data, as well as Organic Law 3 /2018, of December 5, Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD), we inform you that no personal data is processed. The data collected through the survey will be treated in an anonymized manner so that the participant will not be identified.
About the SELFY project
The SELFY project seeks to improve security and privacy in the autonomous and connected mobility sector. To this end, it develops tools to ensure data protection during communications between vehicles and mobility systems, seeking to increase trust and facilitate the adoption of these technologies by users.
