SELFY partners from TECNALIA have participated in the 20th IEEE Autonomous and Trusted Vehicles Conference (ATC 2023) taking place from 28th – 31st of August in Portsmouth (UK).

During the conference, Mario Rodríguez-Arozamena, researcher at TECNALIA, presented the SELFY-related paper “Fail-Safe Decision Architecture for Positioning Failures on Automated Vehicles”.

The work presents a fail-safe decision architecture for mitigating positioning failures of automated vehicles in urban scenarios which uses a combination of sensor fusion localisation and decision-making modules to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle in the event of a positioning failure.
