Contribution to SELFY

TECNALIA is in charge of the research of safe operational modes for the CCAM systems. With large expertise in areas such as automated driving, architecture definition, behavioural and motion planning and fallback strategies, TECNALIA takes responsibility of SELFY’s research of decision-making strategies to provide resilience against failure behaviour by running self-protect actions, which are necessary for the safe deployment of CCAM systems.

Moreover, TECNALIA also participates in the definition of the requirements and ODD applicable to the safe operational tool and the verification of the safety operational tool through simulation environment, via model-in-the-loop, software-in-the-loop and real-world environment via vehicle-hardware-in-the-loop and test track testing approaches.
