Three SELFY-related posters have been presented at the Transport Research Arena Conference (TRA 2024), the largest European research and technology event on transport and mobility, taking place from 15-18 April in Dublin (Ireland).
Víctor Jiménez, SELFY project’s technical coordinator and researcher at the IT&OT Security Unit of Eurecat, presented a paper on SELFY research tools titled “SELFY – Self Assessment, Protection & Healing Tools for a Trustworthy and Resilient CCAM”.
The SELFY project is developing a toolbox made up of collaborative solutions with the objective to address continuous assessments of the robustness and resilience of CCAM-enabled mobility solutions versus cyber-attacks, malfunction, misuse or system failure of the systems in use.
One solution that SELFY research is exploring is Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and quantum-resistant algorithms to assure long-term automotive cybersecurity. Mohamed Saied Mohamed, SELFY partner from FEV, presented at TRA 2024 a paper providing a comprehensive overview of the current status of PQC in automotive applications.
Another SELFY tool presented at this conference has been a fail-safe decision architecture to prevent sensor failures, misuse, and cyberattacks. Mario Rodríguez Arozamena, SELFY partner from TECNALIA, presented the poster “A Fail-Safe Decision Architecture for CCAM Applications”.
Additionally, SELFY materials have been displayed in several stands of the exhibition area, such as the European Automotive Research Partners Association (EARPA) and the CCAM Association booths.
The TRA Conference is the foremost European transport event covering all transport modes and all aspects of mobility and bringing together experts from around the world to discuss about the most relevant innovations and future trends and challenges of mobility and transport. TRA 2024 has been focused on transport transitions, advancing towards a more sustainable and inclusive mobility.
